Liverpool have tonight agreed a club record fee of £125 million with Bayer Leverkusen. Florian Wirtz is on his way to Anfield. The fee is believed to include add ons in the package. Wirtz agreed to his side of the deal weeks ago in terms of his contract.

We have all had to be a little patient as the clubs came to an agreement for the player.. We are getting some player here and if we bring in the other targets we know we are after it will be a huge summer. A summer which will see us have some of the best young players in world football in quite a few positions.

Wirtz will now fly in for his medical and complete the formalities.. More to follow as we get the news..
