Arne Slot is set to lose his assistant coach as Johnny Heitinga is all set to take over as the new Ajax manager.
This is of course a major loss to the club and Arne’s backroom staff but Heitinga comes with a pedigree and will look forward to testing himself in a league he knows well.
The search will begin for his replacement and an early name mentioned is Dirk Kuyt which we would all be happy about. But still this is early days and we will update things as they progress.
We wish Johnny all the best for the future (Unless he is playing against us of course).. and thank him for all he has done in bringing in that 20th League Title..
